The current need for sustainable business solutions

Across the globe, 2020 was one of the three warmest years on record. In the same year, we experienced greenhouse gas emissions rising above 2019 levels in a rebound as COVID-19 restrictions were eased. Fast-rising temperatures and increasing carbon emissions strongly indicate that everyone, from businesses to individuals, must take action now to protect our planet.

Since our formation in 2017, Greentech has strived to find sustainable business solutions to combat environmental problems. As a collective of professionals, brought together by CEO Nick Yeatman, we have since built a diverse portfolio of clients all sharing our passion to make the world a better place.

With the goal of advancing sustainability in business, we partner with like-minded scale-ups and established businesses offering innovative technologies and solutions to the global market. Technology is an invaluable tool, and many businesses are using it to create investable products that encourage the adoption of a circular economy. A prime example being Trovr: a client of ours providing a reverse vending machine (RVM) to public places that rewards customers for recycling items such as plastic bottles.

We believe that combining forward-thinking technologies, such as reverse vending machines, with our commitment to environmental restoration, will truly create measurable change. By providing business service solutions and exploring investing opportunities in sustainability-focused companies, we are working towards creating a more environmentally conscious business world. Our mission is to generate publicity and revenue for our clients, which will lead to positive changes such as waste elimination and reduced pollution, and eventually result in a safer planet for ourselves and future generations.

Through our wide range of services, we aim to accelerate the journey towards becoming ‘net zero’ worldwide. We offer our clients help with market entry and expansion, using thorough research and ‘best practice’ strategies to guide scale-ups on their journey to becoming established businesses. We also provide expert project management, sales strategy advice, and have a digital marketing team who create consistent branding for our clients through website and social media content. In addition to our business services, we are active impact investors and have invested in a number of clients who share our vision for a cleaner sustainable economy.

Being an open-minded collective inspired by innovation, we currently manage clients across a variety of sectors. From organic landscaping and gardening, to clothing and accessories made from recycled materials, to eco-friendly Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we are proud to be involved in so many different areas of sustainability. We form nurturing relationships with all of our clients, delivering practical results that are beneficial to both business and the environment in order to guarantee long-term success.

As our business is growing in 2021, so is our team. Following the introduction of the UK Kickstart Scheme in 2020, we have recently taken on several new team members who have become an integral part of our team. Being a remote company since 2017, we have been well-equipped to adapt to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and able to broaden our horizons when searching for the right people to join our team. Introducing new personalities and ideas to Greentech is helping us to achieve our goals and set our ambitions higher as interest in business sustainability continues to grow.

In a 2021 McKinsey Global Survey, around 22 percent of companies “realised modest or significant value from sustainability in the past five years.” We are confident that this will rise in coming years as the commercial sector begins to see transitioning to sustainable practices as a powerful business opportunity. Nick Yeatman, Greentech’s CEO, has stated that creating a positive impact through Greentech has been his most rewarding achievement to date, and we have high hopes that our company will continue to be a significant force in global climate action.

We are always open to partnering with new clients to help them achieve their short-term and long-term goals, and global sustainability goals by 2030. We welcome you to get in touch via our website if you are interested in a discussion.
